The Uplift project discovers a way to recycle dirty and troublesome plastic

After four years, researchers from various EU nations led by Associate Professor Cristiano Varrone from Aalborg University have found a method to break down and recycle mixed products and dirty plastic that otherwise are incinerated, leading to unnecessary CO2 emissions.
